Kristen Verea
Dipl. Acu, LAc
Licensed Acupuncturist
Kristen specializes in Fertility and Women's Health, bringing both clinical expertise and genuine compassion to one of the most intimate journeys a person can take. Last year alone she helped over 20 women become pregnant, supporting patients through natural conception, IUI, and every stage of IVF — from egg retrieval through postpartum. Her protocols are grounded in Western biomedical research and she has advanced training in PCOS, Endometriosis, and male factor infertility. Wherever you are in your journey, Kristen will walk alongside you.
Her other great passion is emotional healing. She has a special affinity for working with anxiety, PTSD, CPTSD, and Highly Sensitive Persons, creating a safe, nurturing space where deep healing can unfold. Drawing on both her Chinese Medicine training and her own personal healing journey, Kristen brings intuition, understanding, and warmth to every treatment.
-
Kristen is a Licensed Acupuncturist, graduating from Jung Tao School of Classical Chinese Medicine in the mountains of Sugar Grove, NC. She practices in the renowned Vietnamese lineage of Dr. Nguyen Van Nghi — whose translations of the Tang Dynasty Classics (617–907 C.E.) preserved them for posterity and continue to inform our modern understanding of Chinese Medicine.
Rooted in this rich classical tradition, Kristen has also pursued a rigorous biomedical study of fertility, with advanced training in ESTIM and moxibustion to optimize outcomes. Working closely with IVF patients has given her access to remarkable data — patients who complete a full three-month treatment cycle before egg retrieval consistently show measurable improvements, including:
Increased total follicle count
Greater number of successfully fertilized eggs
Upgraded quality of day 5 embryos
Improved uterine lining thickness
Successful implantation after previously failed IVF cycles
This is what acupuncture increasing fertility actually means — real, measurable results that improve the chances of pregnancy in every cycle.
“For 15 years, this place and these great healers have been so supportive of my health and wellbeing. I am very grateful for this gift they bring to the Nashville community.”
